After months of working on the project, we have finally released the 10pens beta at http://10pens.com!
10pens.com aims at building a user community that helps each other with writing tasks by providing free editing services. Rather than the traditional online editors that charge several dollars per page, 10pens hopes to provide feedback and editing of your resumes, cover letters, papers, college applications, or anything else absolutely free!
For those doing the reviewing, there is an economic incentive in addition to garnering good will. Doing a good job on reviews, and getting good ratings will allow you to be able to charge money for them. You’ll still be able to do free reviews, but people will be able to pick you for paid reviews as well!
